The climate crisis unearthed: cultivating change one blog at a time

Why Does Climate Change Matter?

Climate change is a product of the insensitivity of millions around the world... for decades. The destruction of our fragile ecosystem is happening due to an increased concentration in greenhouse gasses, primarily carbon dioxide. Consequences have already begun to occur wide-scale. Hazardous natural air, more frequent and severe heat waves in some areas, excessive flooding in others, extinct organisms, and worsened human health. Every individual has the same moral and ethical obligation to the Earth to prevent passing down a poisonous planet to future generations. Mitigating climate change requires global cooperation, sustainable policies, and a transition to cleaner energy sources. What does this mean individually? Sustainable decisions, green lifestyles, and above all, advocacy, are ways to ensure a more resilient and sustainable future for our planet.
